The Five Elements Of...

There are five basic elements that work together to create successful engagement in any community group or organization.  They are:

• Hope
• Leadership
• Collective Vision
• A Learning Culture
• Inclusive Communications

When these elements are strongly present and being used well, the group will grow and become a force.  When they are not well managed, the group will fail.

In traditional parent engagement practices we see a great deal of failure, and it is frustrating to both the parents as well as the school officials who are trying to manifest increases in parent involvement.
